EXCLUSIVE: Ashutosh Rana calls Shah Rukh Khan an extremely intelligent person, says, “Even today, he gives each of his shots as if it’s first”

Ashutosh Rana always manages to leave an indelible mark with his powerful performances. He has an impressive filmography, be it Dushman, Sangharsh, Raaz to not Pathaan and Fighter among many others. His 2023 hit Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan garnered his immense appreciation. With the movie, King Khan also ruled the box office. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ashutosh Rana shares his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan and his stardom.

During the chat, we asked Rana to share his experience of working with SRK. To this he said, “Wo bahut zinda dil vyakti hai. Humne abhi pathaan mein kaam kiya aur unke saath kaam karke mujhe bahut kuch mila. Aaj bhi wo apne pratyek shot ko aise dete hai jaise naya ladka de raha ho aur ye pehla shot ho. (He is a very lively person. I recently worked with him in Pathaan and I have learned a lot working with him. Even today, he gives each of his shots as if he’s giving his first shot).”

He added, “Kyuki who atyant buddhimaan vyakti hai, padhe—likhe aadmi hai, bhasha ke upar unka asadharan adhikar hai. Wo chahe hindi, angrezi ya urdu ho, aur bahut saari cheezein hai jo unse seekhne yog hai. Jab aap unke saath kaam karte hai toh koi bhi vyakti ho aapko shah rukh khan ke jis status ko, jis stardom ko hum bahar sunte aur padhte hai, aapko set pe lagega ye bilkul naya abhineta hai aur ye wahi manobhav se guzar rahe hai jisse aap. (He is an extremely intelligent person and well-educated person. He has an extraordinary command over languages, be it Hindi, English, or Urdu. There are many things one can learn from him. Regardless about the status and stardom we hear about him, when you work with him, you feel like he is a completely new actor and is going through the same emotions as you do).”

When SRK called Ashutosh Rana Gyaani

During the Twitter interaction, a fan asked him to say a few words about his Pathaan co-star Ashutosh Rana. To which King Khan said, “He is a Gyaani and Antaryaami apart from being a very very fine actor.”

On the work front, the actor features in the series Ranneeti and Murder in Mahim alongside Vijay Raaz in Jio Cinema. He was also seen in Fighter this year.
